Michelle Obama Officiated A Wedding And Now The Internet's Calling Her Superwoman
Michelle Obama is a woman of many talents, however many probably didn’t think she was able to officiate weddings.
She revealed she could do just that though. The former First Lady was in Chicago ahead of her highly anticipated book tour and took a break to oversee the wedding of her hometown’s deputy mayor’s daughter Stephanie Rivkin.
On Saturday (September 22), Mrs. Obama married the 27-year-old Rivkin and her groom, 26-year-old Joel Sircus at the Theater on the Lake, which overlooks Lake Michigan.
Michelle was wearing a floor-length black dress and stood in front of the couple while helping them repeat their vows.
Robert S. Rivkin, the bride's father, has been deputy mayor of Chicago since July of last year. Rivkin and Sircus both graduated at the top of their class from Yale University.
Of course, the Internet reacted to Michelle Obama’s newfound talent
Congrats to the happy couple, and hey, Michelle! Maybe after your book tour you have a new career waiting for you. The line may be a little long though for her services though.
