Osundairo Brothers Visit Office For Special Prosecutor In Connection To Jussie Smollett Case

The office is reportedly mulling over whether to reinstate charges against the “Empire” actor.

Abel and Ola Osundairo reportedly met with Chicago special prosecutor Dan Webb earlier this week in connection to Jussie Smollett and his case.

According to TMZ, the special prosecutor wanted to hear the brothers’ version of what happened during the alleged attack as his office considers whether to reinstate charges against the Empire actor.

The celebrity news website has obtained video of Abel and Ola arriving at the office in downtown Chicago. They’re seen entering the office separately to meet with an attorney in Webb’s office and were accompanied by their attorney Gloria Schmidt.

The Cook County Grand Jury had originally indicted Jussie Smollett on 16 felony counts for allegedly lying to police about his alleged hate crime attack. State’s Attorney Kim Foxx would later dismiss all charges against Smollett.

As a special prosecutor, Dan Webb has the power to reinstate the charges. It’s unclear whether he will renew the case, however, this meeting with the Osundairo brothers is an indicator that he’s at least considering it.
