Vonderrit Myers Funeral Held Sunday - Dozens gathered Sunday at the Prince of Peace Missionary Church in Berkeley for the funeral for Vonderrit Myers, a St. Louis teen who was shot and killed by an off-duty cop on Oct. 8. Man Publicly Shames Daughter for Lying About her Age - A man known as Kevin Jones has used public shaming to teach his 10-year-old daughter, Janiyah, a lesson. Jones posted Facebook photos of his daughter wearing a shirt showing her age after she apparently lied about her age and used several social media accounts, which is against all of his rules. Teacher Accused of Using Racial Slur When Speaking With Students - A substitute teacher has been banned from a Chicago suburb middle school for calling students the n-word during a class, NBC Chicago reports. Four Black eighth graders said the teacher called them African-American. However the students said they did not want to be called that because none of them were from Africa.
