Posted Dec. 10, 2007 - Indiana Pacers player Jamaal Tinsley is unhurt after police say he was targeted in a Sunday morning shooting.

An assault rifle was used in the attack that left the team's equipment manager wounded when he was hit in both elbows.

Tinsley and the manager were sitting in Tinsley's Rolls Royce as the player and some friends were leaving an Indianapolis club.

"We are gathering details, but before we know more, it's inappropriate for us to comment," NBA spokesman Tim Frank says.

Police say a confrontation involving the player's group occurred before the shooting.

Several bullets struck the Rolls Royce.

The equipment manager was treated and released from a local hospital.

In an unrelated incident, Tinsley was indicted earlier this year on a charge of felony intimidation, battery and disorderly conduct for his alleged involvement in a bar fight, and he'll go to trial with teammate Marquis Daniels in January.

Watch the video to hear why Tinsley's brother might be charged for his involvement with the shooting.
