Posted April 20, 2006 – Since the alleged rape by members of the Duke University lacross team, the accuser has been keeping a low profile and seeing a doctor, her cousin told ABC News' "Good Morning America."

"She's exhausted, emotionally and physically, but she's happy that the arrests were made," the accuser's cousin, Jackie, said.

The accuser, a 27-year-old Black exotic dancer, told police she was raped by three White men at a party thrown by Duke’s lacrosse team about a month ago. And since then, two men have been arrested and a third could be arrested soon, according to the prosecutor.

Jackie said the nationwide attention from the case has put her cousin under much stress.

"Who could stand this much pressure?" Jackie said. "It's become this huge media circus."

She said there is no way her cousin, who is a North Carolina Central University student and a mother of two, would have made up the story just for money.

"I think she'd rather have her life back than be concerned with money," Jackie said. "They [other people] hear exotic dancer, and they jump to assumptions."

She described her cousin as a petite, humble and family-oriented person who was trying her best to raise her children, ages 6 and 7.
