Posted Feb. 28, 2008 –  The Rev. Thomas Weeks III, accused of beating, stomping and choking his famous televangelist wife Juanita Bynum, released a book Tuesday that he says gives the real deal on his very public sour relationship.

It’s not the first time that the book "What Love Taught Me," was on store shelves. It was initially released in December but Weeks yanked it back, stating that he feared it would hurt his estranged wife’s feelings.

The book, which has tawdry chapters like “I'd Rather Push You Now Than Punch You Later," "She Wanted to be the Next Oprah at Any Cost" and "The Last Night," about his alleged Aug. 21 attack on Bynum, was published by Double XX Posure Media Group of Arlington, Texas. Weeks wrote the gossip tome following Bynum’s two-part interview with Essence magazine.

The re-release comes a day after the pastor affirmed his plea of not guilty for charges that he assaulted Bynum in an Atlanta hotel parking lot.

So why release it now?

"He initially pulled the book because it hurt his wife's feelings," said Double XX Posure spokeswoman Nakia Hicks. But now, she said, “he felt he needed the opportunity to not only share his side but also to reveal some of the truths that have gone ignored."
