Inauguration Rentals Are Still Available in DC

Published December 30, 2008

An enterprising group called All Things Inaugural (ATI) is providing rental housing to guests arriving in our nation’s capital for Inauguration Day on January 20th. Working under the theme: “Washington Welcomes You Home”, ATI uses its collective resources in real estate, project management, and events planning to give guests the ultimate DC experience.

When ATI guests arrive, they’re greeted by baskets filled with an assortment of goodies that includes champagne and chocolate, local delicacies, and neighborhood dining, shopping and transportation guides.  The baskets also feature at-a-glance brochures for inaugural events, tips on where to get the best view of the downtown DC festivities and much more.  Going through ATI allows guests to come in off the road, kick their feet up and be fully refreshed in time to see the Obamas take office.

In the past three weeks alone, the group has matched guests with more than 39 privately-owned homes located in some of the most desirable and accessible neighborhoods in the nation’s capital.  ATI’s property inventory includes everything from studio-size units all the way up to places with five-plus bedrooms. Prices range from $300 - $500/night for single occupancy.  They even offer a few unfurnished “crash and dash” properties at $75 a night for groups of up to ten.

It’s not too late.  Sure, the early bird gets the worm, but you can still get a reservation. Send your inquiries to: or call (202) 370-6292 or
(240) 498-0877.
