Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to speak at a welcoming ceremony today in Dover for the roughly 110 soldiers of the Delaware Army National Guard's 261st Signal Brigade, a Guard spokesman said.
The ceremony will begin in front of Legislative Mall in Dover at 1 p.m.
The soldiers – including the vice president's son, Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden – arrived in the United States on Friday after spending about 10 months overseas in Iraq.
Gov. Jack Markell is also scheduled to speak at the event.
