Imagine that. The NBA has instituted a new law barring coaches and players from Tweeting during games.
Under the new policy, announced Wednesday, no NBA personnel are permitted to use cell phones and other electronic communication devices are prohibited from 45 minutes before a game until after players have wrapped up all game business afterward. That means halftime is out of the question, too.
The memo sent by the league to players, coaches and other personnel did not specify the penalties for violating the new policy.
Exactly what this will mean for the 1.4 million followers of NBA’s active Twitterers is unclear.
