Earthquake in Chile: Here's How You Can Help

Published March 2, 2010

Chile's president Michelle Bachelet is promising the people of her earthquake-ravaged nation  food, water and shelter.

But even as aid begins to trickle in, the death toll has climbed  to more than 700, and the disaster has left large numbers of Chileans homeless.

Others, near the coast, have chosen to move out of their homes, fearing the threat of tsunamis. Several aid organizations are already on the ground, trying to meet the needs of the injured, displaced, hungry and bereaved.

To make this happen, aid organizations -- and the people of Chile- need your help.

Here are a few ways you can make a difference. Visit one of the sites below to make a contribution.
