We're just over a week away from tipping off NBA All-Star weekend festivities in New York City.
Starting what's sure to be an action-packed weekend will be the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, which will be held at Madison Square Garden next Friday, February 13. The game is set to feature a wide-range of stars and serious ballers, including Kevin Hart and Common. Hart is no stranger to the weekend event, the Real Husbands of Hollywood star has won MVP honors for the game three times.
Common and Hart will be joined on the court by celebs such as Anthony Anderson, Nick Cannon and Mo'ne Davis, last summer's Little League baseball sensation who created national headlines. WNBA stars like Skylar Diggins and Tina Charles will also participate. Spike Lee, a die-hard New York Knicks' in addition to being a movie director, will serve as coach during the Celebrity Game, according to the Associated Press.
As previously reported, Ariana Grande will perform during the All-Star Game's halftime show on Sunday night, also at the Garden. All-Star Saturday night, in between, will be held at Brooklyn's Barclays Center and will feature events like the Three-Point Contest and Slam Dunk Contest.
