Manny Pacquiao has his fight song picked out and ready to go for his May 2 mega bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr. And it's very emotional.
On Monday, TMZ Sports posted the music video for Pacquiao's new song, "Lalaban Ako Para Sa Filipino," which the website claims was specifically made to be used as his entrance for the Mayweather match. The song has Pacquiao singing in his wispy tone, a sharp contrast to his brutal fighting style.
"Lalaban Ako Para Sa Filipino" translates to "I Fight for the Filipino People" and aptly shows moving footage of Pacquiao's home country of the Philippines — everything from children in the street to natives cheering on the celebrated boxer.
The music video also shows Pacman training for the May 2 mega bout spliced in with past fight footage of him delivering the pain to opponents such as Antonio Margarito, Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton.
Let's see if the sounds of his own voice get Pacquiao focused enough to give the undefeated Mayweather the first loss of his career.
