It started off as a hypothetical question and ended in a social media back and forth between two of the greatest basketball players of all time.
Shaquille O'Neal started it Monday, when the four-time NBA champion told his Instagram followers that he thought a team of all-time Los Angeles Lakers greats would defeat a squad of all-time Chicago Bulls greats, including Michael Jordan, by 50 points.
Well,Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen, a six-time NBA champion with the Bulls, took offense to that, reminding Shaq that he and Jordan combined to win six league titles to the three that O'Neal and Kobe Bryant won together with the Lakers from 2000-02.
To that, Shaq responded by unleashing an onslaught of digs at Pippen, including referring to himself as the Puffy of the Lakers and Pippen as the Ma$e of the Bulls.
The Diesel didn't stop there, either, continuing to refer to Pippen as the ultimate sidekick.
Pippen fired back, though, mocking Shaq's poor free-throw shooting before reminding one of the greatest centers ever that he, too, has shared the spotlight on teams before.
That's one of the better back and forths that we're likely to see on social media.
Who got the better of the exchange?
