Dwight Howard Brought a Loaded Gun to Airport, Avoids Arrest

It's a good thing he was in Texas.

Published September 2, 2015

Dwight Howard was packing heat in the worst possible place — the airport. Security at George Bush Airport in Houston caught the Rockets' player with a loaded Glock in his carry-on baggage last week. Howard claimed he just forgot he had it in his bag.

Because this happened in Texas, where gun laws are, let's just say, looser than other parts of the country, Howard was able to simply give the Glock to his buddy to take back to his house, and board the flight without any further issues or threats of prosecution.

Good thing he didn't also have more than three ounces of shampoo in his bag, or things may have turned out very differently.
