ESPN Ranking Is Still Unkind to Kobe Bryant

As if the Black Mamba needs any more motivation.

Are there 92 players in the NBA better than Kobe Bryant?

ESPN thinks so, as they've listed the five-time NBA champion 93rd on its annual Top 400 player rankings.

One can only imagine what Bryant will think this year. Remember, before the start of last season, ESPN ranked Bryant 40th overall, prompting the future Hall of Famer to call them a "bunch of idiots."

ESPN is unveiling its rankings backwards, so we'll soon find out all the players they think are better than the Black Mamba. However, alongside his Insider's Profile attached to the rankings, ESPN wrote: "At this stage, he has turned into a parody of himself, with seemingly every field goal attempt coming 'against all odds' as Bryant dominates the ball during possessions and often shoots long jumpers against double coverage."

Needless to say, the Internet has been mocking the Worldwide Leader in Sports for their low ranking of one of the game's all-time greats since it unveiled Bryant as 93rd on Wednesday.

At 37, this 2015-16 season could mark Bryant's 20th and final year in the NBA. Still, even in the twilight of his career, Bryant managed to lead the league in scoring early last season before suffering a season-ending torn rotator cuff.

The Black Mamba might make ESPN eat its rankings yet again.
