In case the Brooklyn Nets need an extra player this season, they might want to call on R. Kelly.
Before singing a rousing rendition of the national anthem prior to the Nets home game against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night, the "R" in R&B calmly drained a corner 3-pointer with a cigar in his mouth, while warming up with Nets' rookie Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.
"Hey, that's the one y'all send YouTube," Kells said laughing about his made shot, while accepting congrats from the Nets forward.
R. Kelly has long been rumored to be a serious baller... and making this shot look easy proves that.
But after effortlessly swishing the 3, Kells got back to doing what he does best — moving crowds with his voice, this time via a memorable belting of the national anthem.
Kelly is currently preparing his 13th album, The Buffet, for a December 11 release.
