Police Are Investigating Cowboys Security for Using Chokehold on Fan

Things got a little rowdy during Thanksgiving game against the Panthers.

The last thing you'd expect is to be choked by security at a football game... especially on Thanksgiving.

Well, TMZ Sports is reporting that Carolina Panthers fan John Small filed a police report this past Monday and the Arlington Police Department have opened an investigation into the alleged assault, which stemmed from the Panthers-Dallas Cowboys game in Texas on Thanksgiving Day.

In a disturbing video, which has gone viral since, Small is seen being choked and restrained by a security guard. Although several fans try to loosen the security guard's grip, the guard maintains the chokehold.

Small insists he didn't do anything wrong and that footage from the incident proves it and that's why Arlington police are investigating the situation as a potential Class A misdemeanor assault.
