49ers quarterback puts focus on presidential hopeful's hate.

Colin Kaepernick has had a largely forgettable season this year, even being benched from his starting quarterback role with the San Francisco 49ers since last month.

But just because the struggling QB isn't making an impact on the field, doesn't mean he can't make it off it.

On Thursday, Kaepernick posted the Instagram pic below with the caption "Food for thought" in response to Donald Trump's proposal to ban all Muslims from entering the United States. The meme the 28-year-old posted essentially delivers the message that if Trump's proposal doesn't bother you because you're not Muslim, how will you feel if or when the 2016 presidential hopeful gets around to making an attack on you?

Food for thought!

Food for thought, indeed, Kap!

In a previous IG post, also on Thursday, Kaepernick wrote the caption, "Racism and discrimination isn't OK we are all human beings! Things need to change!"

Kaepernick joins fellow athletes such as the legendary Kareem-Abdul Jabbar and Muhammad Ali, who have each spoken out about Trump and his Muslim-ban proposal as well.

Charles Barkley also took shots at Trump's controversial practices, calling them "sad" and "insulting," following TNT's broadcast of the Sacramento Kings-New York Knicks game on Thursday night.
