Serena Williams is trying to make things right.

The tennis star is known for her rocking body, so it's understandably that fans are confused as to why People showed a dramatically slimmed down Williams in a bikini, and Williams shared the doctored image on social media.

Hundreds of people commented on the photoshopped image, questioning the tennis star's reason for posting it. As a result, Serena posted a more honest version of the image over the weekend and many fans commented in support of the body-healthy change.

Fans took to Twitter to express their opinions on the blantantly-doctored image, and subsequent replacement.

This is not the first time Serena has been at the center of photoshop controversy. In 2015 Williams faced backlash for appearing on the 2015 Sports Illustrated cover with what appeared to be slimmed down thighs.

It was the right decision for Serena to listen to fans and replace the shopped image to promote body positivity for all those who look up to the tennis star.
