[Look] Just Terrible: The Morbid Prediction Friends Have About Johnny Manziel

Here's their shocking belief about the troubled ex-NFL QB.

Scary images of an emaciated-looking Johnny Manziel raging at a Las Vegas pool party shocked the internet late last week.

Those close to Manziel believe that the troubled ex-NFL quarterback's issues with drinking and drug use are so out of control that he's literally knocking on death's door.

"If he continues this way for much longer he will die,” one source close to Manziel told TMZ Sports

Another source added: "He's in a horrible downward spiral."

This code-red level of concern only compounds Manziel's dad, Paul Manziel, telling the Dallas Morning News this past February that, "I truly believe if they can't get him help, he won't live to see his 24th birthday," referring to his son's alcohol and drug abuse issues and refusing to enter rehab twice.

Sources close to Manziel say they tried sitting him down and "confronting" him via an intervention, but that "he flipped out and would not hear it."

Perhaps putting it out there that they think he'll die if he continues to go down this path is their only hope that Manziel gets help... and fast.

It has gotten so bad that certain Vegas nightclubs are thinking twice of even allowing him in because he's such a liability.

"He's too much of a risk," a nightclub source told TMZ. "He's a good guy, but he's a f****** mess."

Over the past few weeks, the celebrity news site has documented his partying in Los Angeles, Sin City, Miami, Coachella and Dallas.

If Manziel doesn't seek help quickly, this could have the grim ending that his friends fear the most.

Truly sad.
