He gets an assist from Gabrielle Union this time.

Dwyane Wade is known for his dominance on the NBA court, not for his bars in the studio, but the NBA all-star took advantage of the #sogonechallenge to try and show off his skills. Unfortunately for the aspiring emcee, his first attempt fell flat and drew quite a bit of online criticism.

While Wade could have easily taken the L and moved on, he instead decided to apply his never-quit attitude and give it another try, this time with the help of his loving wife Gabrielle Union.

Take a look at Wade's "So Gone" redo — does the addition of his beautiful wife do anything for his flow, or just detract from the corniness that Twitter already called him out for?

When compared to his first attempt, it's clear that Wade spent just a little more time preparing.

Having alil fun haha!!! I challenge #TeamWade @kingjames @cp3 @carmeloanthony do this #Sogonechallenge

Like his flow or not, you have to love D-Wade for mustering up the courage and giving the viral challenge another go, especially after he was made the butt of so many internet jokes just days before.

Luckily for both Wade and Union, they won't be depending on his rap career to be brining home the bacon anytime soon as the baller just inked a two-year deal with his hometown Chicago Bulls for $47.5 million.
