When Stephen Curry gets a glimpse of daylight beyond the arc, he's almost automatic in draining three-pointers.
Chef Curry with the shot, boy!
That's what made this moment all the more unbelievable to digest, as 17-year-old Gian Mamuyac, a player on the Philippines's Under-18 national team, managed to block Curry's three-point attempt during a game as part of the NBA superstar's recent Asia tour.
Seeing is believing, so take a look.
It's one play, but there's a lot to be impressed with here.
First of all, Mamuyac managed to stay on his feet against Curry's lethal handles. Secondly, the kid managed to hold his defensive position enough to rise up and block his three-pointer — a rarity even in the NBA. He definitely earned Steph's respect, as evidenced by the tail-end of the footage.
This kid should blow this block up into a poster.
After all, it's not every day that you earn the highlight of a lifetime against the back-to-back NBA MVP.
Not too shabby.
