Stephen Curry tweeting once about Keith Lamont Scott's murder at the hands of police and the violent Charlotte protests that followed doesn't cut it for Charlamagne Tha God.
While appearing on Any Given Wednesday with Bill Simmons last night, the outspoken radio personality ripped the back-to-back NBA MVP for his lack of significant response over the national-headlining story, which took place in the Golden State Warriors' point guard's home city of Charlotte.
“I mean, Steph is gonna step up when beige lives start getting killed by the police," C Tha God told Simmons without hesitation. “He doesn’t care about Black lives, he cares about beige lives. When the ‘Beige Lives Matter’ campaign starts, Steph’s going to be right there at the forefront.”
You already know that Charlamagne isn't going to ever hold back from saying what he thinks.
In Curry's defense, he did applaud Colin Kaepernick's national-anthem stance against racism and police brutality earlier this month, but said that he'll "most likely" stand for the "Star Spangled Banner" before NBA games this upcoming 2016-17 season, which tips off next month.
