The skateboarding community is in mourning.
Pro skateboarder and model Dylan Rieder died Wednesday due to complications with leukemia, as confirmed by his manager. He was 28.
Rieder exploded onto the scene having turned pro at the age of 18.
Watch his skating skills from 2009's Mind Field.
Just last year, Rieder was honored with Transworld Skateboarding's award for Best Part in Supreme's "cherry," as reported by RollingStone.com.
Beyond skateboarding, the Cali native also had a budding modeling portfolio going for himself, as he was part of DKNY's 2014 ad campaign, which also featured A$AP Rocky and Cara Delevingne.
The shocking news of his passing sent tremors through the skateboarding world and beyond Wednesday and continuing through today.
R.I.P. Dylan Rieder and condolences to his family.
