WTF is Jerry Rice thinking these days?

The NFL Hall of Famer drew the ire of fans last fall when he criticized Colin Kaepernick's kneeling during the national anthem and commented, "All Lives Matter."

Nearly five months later and the legendary wide receiver is being dragged to hell and back by people for appearing in a Popeyes commercial wearing a "taste-mask" football helmet in which a piece of chicken is adhered to. You can't make this up.

Here's the ad that blew up social media and the blitz of comments tackling Rice for this personal foul.

This ad quickly set off fireworks on social media with people blasting the Hall of Famer from all angles.

  2. The Hall of Famer Was Labeled A Hypocrite

    Hmm ...

  3. ...And the Coon Comments Came In Waves

Rice walked right into this one.

  4. One Person Even Hit Him With An #AllThighsMatter Hash Tag

Zero chill. The internet remains undefeated.

  5. Fans Want To Void His Hall of Fame Career because of the ad
  6. Some Thought This Was Rice's Attempt To 'Get His Black Card Back' After His Kaepernick Comments

When it rains, it pours ... all over Jerry's face.

  7. Was Popeyes' Money Too Good To Turn Down?

And is Jerry hard-pressed for cash these days?

  8. Who On Jerry's Team Co-Signed This?

For real. This is an inexplicably poor decision, to say the least.

  9. NFL Players Have Questions

New England Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett poses a damn good question here.

  10. Just ... WTF, Jerry!?

Perhaps asking WTF is the best way to put it.
