From President Obama's farewell speech last week to the sight of him passing the torch to Donald Trump as the country's new commander-in-chief, it has been a whirlwind of emotions swirling around the 44th POTUS and what he meant to us.

Star athletes aren't any different.

Everyone from LeBron James to Carmelo Anthony, Stephen Curry and other star athletes have taken to their social media accounts to thank Barack Obama on his eight years of service.
