LeBron James had enough of Charles Barkley's criticism. That could explain why the three-time NBA champion clapped back at Chuck in such an epic fashion Monday night, letting the Hall of Famer know that he's a "hater" and isn't "credible."
"He's a hater," James told ESPN about Sir Charles following his Cleveland Cavaliers' 104-97 loss to the Dallas Mavericks last night. "What makes what he says credible? Because he's on TV?"
James added: "I'm not going to let him disrespect my legacy like that. I'm not the one who threw somebody through a window. I never spit on a kid. I never had unpaid debt in Las Vegas. I never said, 'I'm not a role model.' I never showed up to All-Star Weekend on Sunday because I was in Vegas all weekend partying. All I've done for my entire career is represent the NBA the right way. Fourteen years, never got in trouble. Respected the game. Print that."
This all stems from Barkley criticizing LeBron for imploring the Cavs to bolster their roster.
Good grief! And people jumped on social media to get behind LeBron's epic clapback.
Although TNT's "Inside the NBA" tried to make light of the situation, tweeting a pic of its analyst Barkley looking carefree, it didn't stop the roasting of Chuck from continuing.
And TNT played off that perfectly with this tweet, showing Chuck carefree. But that didn't stop people from dragging the ring-less Hall of Famer to hell and back after LeBron's epic clapback.
Hold this L and take many seats, Charles.
For the win! The internet remains undefeated!
This gives a whole new meaning to the King's court.
The way Bron came at Chuck, it could be compared to a diss track.
Just cause ... Barkley will never live this smooch with ex-NBA ref Dick Bavetta down.
The King's disciples have spoken.
Get your popcorn ready for Sir Charles's response.
