There's no doubting Stephen Curry as the ultimate marksman, having drained an NBA record 402 3-pointers last season.
Last night, though, the back-to-back league MVP was on the dubious side of an NBA record, shooting a dreadful 0-for-11 from beyond the arc. Although his visiting Golden State Warriors defeated the Philadelphia 76ers, Curry tied a league record for most 3-point misses without a make. Ouch.
That being said, here's how Curry built his brick house last night followed by all the hilarious, zero-chill clowning that came his way.
Sheesh! Coldest night of the year.
Damn, Steph.
We're dead at the 3-1 Post-it that King James stuck on the back-to-back NBA MVP.
LeBron sipping that wine like it's tea out here.
Yeah ... what he said.
That is awful, though. No way around it.
Steph should pay for his ticket back.
Lil' bro has bragging rights as far as last night.
Usually when a superstar player goes that cold, the next night he comes back with a vengeance. That means John Wall and the Washington Wizards need to be cautious tonight.
“The weatherman said it’s like a low-pressure system that was coming in [and] I forgot to adjust to the thickness of the air,” he told reporters in Philadelphia following his poor shooting night.
Sometimes laughing it off is all you can do.
