And his fellow ballers saluted "The Truth" in a major way.

The Los Angeles Clippers' 104-91 Game 7 loss to the Utah Jazz yesterday not only ended their season, but also the astounding career of Paul Pierce.

After 19 years in the league, "The Truth" played his final NBA contest, walking away from the game with one championship, a Finals MVP and 10 All-Star appearances to his name. In addition, Pierce, 39, also retires from the league 15th on the NBA's all-time scoring list with 26,397 points. Legendary.

Here, Pierce offered some parting thoughts on his future Hall of Fame career with several of his fellow ballers chiming in and saluting him in a major way.

  1. 'Nineteen Years, Giving Everything I Had'

    Can't front ... terrific career.

  2. Kevin Garnett

KG, Pierce's former Boston Celtics teammate, got overwhelmed with emotion over his friend's retirement. Understandable.

  3. LeBron James

Even King James had to bow down.

  4. Kobe Bryant

From one future Hall of Famer to another, Kobe Bryant definitely had his fair share of battles against "The Truth." Who could forget the 2008 and 2010 Finals, when both guards went head to head?

  5. Dwyane Wade

Dwyane Wade couldn't resist saluting Pierce and shading him at the same time, capitalizing "ONE" to reference Truth's single title to his three. Petty, Wade!

  6. Dirk Nowitzki

With one ring and many All-Star Game appearances, Dirk Nowitzki can relate.

  7. CJ McCollum

    OG status certified.

  8. Mike Conley

Like him or not, you gotta respect "The Truth."

  9. Jamal Crawford

Nothing but respect from his Clippers teammate.

  10. Shabazz Napier

When cats came up watching you and are now balling in the league, that's a full circle of influence. Respect to Paul Pierce for one hell of a career.
