Lonzo Ball Got Dragged for Including Future in His Top 5 Rappers

He "needs to stick to basketball."

Lonzo Ball already has been scrutinized largely due to his dad LaVar Ball's many outrageous boasts.

It doesn't help that the projected top-three pick in next month's 2017 NBA Draft is being dragged for an old tweet.

People have been going in on Lonzo's "Top 5 All-Time" rappers' list, which he tweeted last May. His list in order? Lil Wayne, Future, DMX, 50 Cent and 2Pac. In defense of Lonzo, he is 19 and this was his personal list. Not to mention, all the rappers he mentioned had their undeniable moments in hip-hop, with Future most recently landing two No. 1 albums in back-to-back weeks for the first time in 61 years.

But try telling that to the internet, which dragged Lonzo to hell and back for his picks — especially taking issue with naming Future the second rhyme slinger on his Top 5 list.

  • Here's Lonzo's May 2016 Tweet, Which Set The Internet on Fire With Heated Reactions

When your old tweet comes back to haunt you.

  • Man ... say it ain't so

    Was Lonzo trolling?

  • It didn't take long for people to tell him to 'stick to basketball'

    DAMN!

  • Another person called his list straight garbage

That's harsh. We respect all of the artists on his list.

  • And they more than went in on him for putting Future second

Would Lonzo have been better off choosing Dylan, Dylan, Dylan, Dylan and Dylan?

  • Lonzo's list also earned him the Ice Cube grill

    Bruh!

  • People wondered why some legendary MC's were left off his list

Hard to argue against Twitter here.

  • HOW SWAY!?

When those Twitter fingers have you down for the count.
