Greatness definitely recognizes greatness.
That's precisely what happened when Allen Iverson met up with Floyd Mayweather Jr. at a charity basketball game that the boxing legend played on Sunday, a day after he defeated Conor McGregor to record his historic 50th victory.
So, what did the NBA Hall of Famer say to "Money" Mayweather?
"You beat a motherf***** ass and then come out here and hoop," A.I. shouted to a smiling Mayweather courtside. "God damn! And you look like 'Pretty Boy' Floyd."
With that latter part, A.I. was referring to the "Pretty Boy" moniker that Mayweather used earlier in his boxing career, before switching over to "Money" and creating The Money Team.
But just watch this classic exchange between A.I. and Mayweather — two of the best to do it in their respective sports.
All #Facts from "The Answer," too.
In other words, you can say, "Money" is "The Answer." Two of the greatest to ever do it.
And A.I. wasn't the only NBA legend to salute Floyd on his big win. LeBron James called it a "treat and honor to witness history," referring to Mayweather's 50th win.
