Trump Really Used This Old Usain Bolt Video In Attempt To Shame Protesting NFL Players

"Even Usain Bolt from Jamaica showed respect for our national anthem."

Published September 27, 2017

Donald Trump just won't stop his attack on protesting NFL players.

After receiving severe backlash for calling any protesting NFL player a "son of a b***h," President Trump inexplicably tried to shame the league's players taking a stance during the national anthem by tweeting out an old video of Usain Bolt observing the anthem. The video stems from "The World's Fastest Man" momentarily stopping an interview to observe and honor the national anthem during the 2012 London Olympics.

Is this Trump's way of trying to shame protesting NFL players? Wow. Upon seeing the tweet that 45 sent out yesterday evening, people were quick to blast the celebrity-in-chief over his latest form of absurdity.

And we'd bet that Bolt isn't feeling Trump using him as an example to further push his battle against protesting NFL players.

If only Trump's Twitter privileges would be revoked. Shaking our heads.
