Trump Is Getting Destroyed For Attacking Jemele Hill And The NFL In These Tweets

He's blaming the suspended SportsCenter co-host for ESPN's drop in ratings.

Published October 10, 2017

President Trump woke up this morning with the NFL and Jemele Hill on his mind, using his Twitter fingers to attack the SportsCenter co-host by saying, "with Jemele Hill at the mike, it is no wonder ESPN ratings have 'tanked.'"

This came a day after ESPN announced it's suspending Hill for two weeks following her second violation of the company's social media policy after she tweeted and suggested that fans bothered by Jerry Jones' threat to Dallas Cowboys players should "boycott his advertisers."

Let's not forget that this is the same Trump administration that called for ESPN to fire Hill after she called the celebrity-in-chief a "white supremacist" last month.

Needless to say, people are furious over Trump's tweet directed at Hill, dragging the president to hell and back with these heated reactions.

  1. Here's how Trump attacked Jemele Hill with his Twitter fingers early this morning

    Shaking our damn heads.

  2. Charlamagne Tha God dedicated his 'Donkey of the day' to ESPN, making it clear that Hill's punishment 'is a retroactive suspension for what she tweeted about Trump'

    #StandWithJemele @ESPN let’s have a Petty Party!!!!!!!!

#Facts. #StayWoke. Salute to C Tha God for imploring people to call ESPN to let the company know what they think about Hill's suspension.

  3. Shaun King came through with this food for thought ...

  4. And speaking about Kaepernick, the free-agent QB re-tweeted this from Ava Duvernay to let it be known that he stands with Jemele Hill

    So true.

  5. More than anything, people are just sick and tired of Trump attacking Jemele Hill

    Clapback season in full effect.

  6. Oh, and can we talk about the irony of Trump bringing up ratings?

    Check your own ratings, Donald.

  7. Not to mention, the president of the United States really doesn't know the difference between mic and mike

    Unreal times.

  8. Women's March released this woke message, standing with Jemele

"The suspension of Jemele Hill is a despicable attempt to silence a Black woman speaking out against systematic oppression in this country. This suspension is proof of how deeply entrenched racism is within our institutions."

    Talk to 'em!

  9. Al Sharpton vows that people aren't going to take Jemele's suspension lightly

    Enough is enough.

  10. And many think that the wrong person was outed altogether
