President Trump woke up this morning with the NFL and Jemele Hill on his mind, using his Twitter fingers to attack the SportsCenter co-host by saying, "with Jemele Hill at the mike, it is no wonder ESPN ratings have 'tanked.'"
This came a day after ESPN announced it's suspending Hill for two weeks following her second violation of the company's social media policy after she tweeted and suggested that fans bothered by Jerry Jones' threat to Dallas Cowboys players should "boycott his advertisers."
Let's not forget that this is the same Trump administration that called for ESPN to fire Hill after she called the celebrity-in-chief a "white supremacist" last month.
Needless to say, people are furious over Trump's tweet directed at Hill, dragging the president to hell and back with these heated reactions.
Shaking our damn heads.
#Facts. #StayWoke. Salute to C Tha God for imploring people to call ESPN to let the company know what they think about Hill's suspension.
Clapback season in full effect.
Check your own ratings, Donald.
"The suspension of Jemele Hill is a despicable attempt to silence a Black woman speaking out against systematic oppression in this country. This suspension is proof of how deeply entrenched racism is within our institutions."
Talk to 'em!
Enough is enough.
