Like many, Diddy is sick and tired of the state of the NFL, with some owners demanding that their players stand during the national anthem.

That being said, the hip-hop mogul took to both his Instagram and Twitter accounts and shared his "dream" of running his own league.

“My dream is to own our own league. Where you can be yourself. Have a retirement plan,” Diddy wrote on his IG post Wednesday. “Have the freedom to be a great human and protest for your people without being demonized for your beliefs as a king!!!!”

Within his IG and tweet, Diddy made sure to state, "sell me the NFL now!!!!"

Well, people took that and ran with it, making as many hilarious Making the Band jokes as possible. Take that, take that!

  1. Here's how diddy shared his dream on IG and Twitter, demanding, 'Sell Me the NFL Now!!!!'

    Bad Boy, baby!

  2. And just like that, the wave of 'Making the Band' jokes came rolling in with visions of a new reality tv show

    Imagine that ...

  3. Diddy reaching out to players would be legendary

    "Don't f**k this up!"

  4. So, what would the NFL look like if it were run by Diddy?

Good grief. People can't stop, won't stop with these jokes.

  5. and you already know that if people were bringing up 'making the band,' they were gonna work a cheesecake joke in there

"I'm starving, too. You know something? I want me a piece of cheesecake."

  6. All joking aside, one person felt like it was necessary to kill Diddy's dream and let him know that the NFL doesn't have a single owner ... as if he didn't know

Come on, we're sure he's aware.

  7. But as people broke down the math on it, they volunteered to help Diddy get as close as possible to his goal

Dead over the chicken nuggets. That's just wrong.

  8. Honestly, there's an uptick of people who would rather see Diddy launch his own league, something that the hip-hop mogul alluded to in his IG post

    Now that would be amazing!
