Colin Kaepernick made it perfectly clear during his 2016 season-long kneeling during the national anthem that he was protesting against oppression, racism and the police brutality of unarmed Black men. Several NFL players followed suit, kneeling during the anthem as a silent protest to raise awareness to the same issues.
But after President Trump called protesting NFL players a "son of a b***h," Tomi Lahren has casually and all-too conveniently forgotten about why the league's players are protesting.
"I would like to ask these players: What exactly are you kneeling for?" the Fox News contributor said on the network this morning.
Whether Lahren sincerely doesn't know or is simply pretending to not know, Twitter is willingly dragging and educating her with these responses along the way.
"So I would like to ask these players, what exactly are you kneeling for and why have you chosen the flag and the anthem to do it?" Lahren asked. "I bet if we asked 100 players we would get 100 different answers."
Oh, you're gonna learn today!
Well, Tomi ...
That last part.
"Tomi will keep pretending she has no idea what's going on..."
Word. Say that again.
