Conor McGregor Says There's 'No Doubt' He'd Beat Mayweather In A Rematch And People Are Dragging Him For It

"He wants to make more money I guess."

Conor McGregor is either delusional or supremely confident.

After Floyd Mayweather Jr. made him look like light work en route to a 10th-round TKO victory this past August in Las Vegas, the UFC superstar vows that he'd beat "Money" if the two had a rematch.

"If I had a rematch, I would correct it and beat him," McGregor told BBC Sport on Wednesday.

The MMA fighter added, "If it happens — maybe it will, who knows? — I would beat him, no doubt."

Well, it's good that he's confident in his ability, but Twitter isn't and people dragged McGregor to hell and back for saying this.

  • When people first heard McGregor say he'd defeat Mayweather in a rematch, all they could do is laugh

    Come on, Conor.

  • not to mention, McGregor's prediction earned him looks like this ...

We clearly don't smell what you're cooking.

  • just as a refresher, this is what happened to mcgregor when he faced floyd

If it wasn't for the ref stopping the bout, McGregor would've gotten knocked the f**k out!

  • The only logical explanation for Conor's confidence is another big payday

It's got to be about the money and nothing else.

  • But even if it's about the money, can we talk about how delusional McGregor sounds after he was thoroughly handled?

    Crazy.

  • You duped us once into this fight, but we aren't sure that people would be up for a rematch

    Catching up on your Zzzzs?

  • At the end of the day, people feel like McGregor should just ...

    No rematch, bruh.
