"#FreeCyntoiaBrown."

The disturbing story of Cyntoia Brown has captured the attention of the nation, including celebrities such as Rihanna, T.I.Kim Kardashian West and most recently LeBron James.

On Wednesday, King James took to his Instagram account to weigh in on the grave injustice involving Brown, a 29-year-old sex trafficking victim who is serving life in prison for murdering a 43-year-old man who paid to have sex with her when she was only 16.

Upon learning about Brown's story, the three-time NBA champion posted an excerpt from an article, before asking: "What's really going on here man!?!? Like seriously though. Guess she didn't have the RIGHT to finally defend herself huh?!? GTFOH."

James added: "Cyntoia should be getting a award, medal of courage of sort instead of being locked up."

Take a look at LeBron's full IG post about Cyntoia Brown below.

We're glad that powerful people with platforms, like LeBron, are speaking up about this because as King James said, it "doesn't make sense at all."
