Former NBA Star Ben Gordon Got 'Donkey Of The Day' For Being Arrested On A Felony Robbery Charge After Making More Than $84 Million

"On a scale of one to Tyrese, you clearly wasn't managing your money correctly."

What in the world is going on with Ben Gordon?

The former NBA shooting guard was arrested for the second time in a week and third time in just over a month Saturday when he was booked on a felony robbery charge in L.A., as confirmed to USA TODAY Sports by the Los Angeles Police Department

According to The Associated Press, the 34-year-old Gordon demanded his security deposit from a manager overseeing the two apartments he had rented. LAPD spokesperson Tony Im said Gordon "punched" the manager "in the face" after the man told the former NBA player that he didn't have access to the deposit money.

Although Im said that the manager was able to give part of Gordon's deposit back, he adds that the former NBA Sixth Man of the Year (2005) left and returned with a knife, insisting on getting the rest. Gordon reportedly left, but returned to the premises for a third time when he was arrested on a felony robbery charge before being jailed and released on a $50,000 bail.

By the way, putting hands on a manager for a security deposit came from Gordon, who reportedly made upwards of $84 million during his NBA career, as reported by TMZ Sports.

That whole story, especially the latter part of his career earnings, made Gordon the prime target for Charlamagne Tha God's "Donkey of the Day" segment this morning on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club.

And as usual, C Tha God had zero chill while destroying the segment's recipient.

"He's 34 years old and played in the NBA for about 10 or 11 years seasons and made more than $84 million during his NBA career," Charlamagne yelled in utter disgust and disbelief. "I'm not counting nobody's pockets, but if you 34 years old and made $84 million in your life, but now you're back living in apartments and beating up guys to get your security deposit back, on a scale of one to Tyrese, you clearly wasn't managing your money correctly. You messed up your money, Ben Gordon."

Gordon shared the dubious "Donkey of the Day" honor with Chanel West Coast on Wednesday.
