With the holidays around the corner, Russell Westbrook is in the giving spirit.
The reigning NBA MVP and several of his Oklahoma City Thunder teammates spent their day off Monday running the team's 10th annual Holiday Assist shopping event for the local Grandparents Raising Grandchildren program.
And Russell, rocking a Santa hat, brought one little girl to tears of joy when she was announced as his holiday shopping buddy.
Check out the precious, heartwarming moment below.

Thunder point guard Raymond Felton also shared this tender moment with one of the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren participants.
Salute to Westbrook and his Thunder teammates on this Holiday Assist.
Tis the season.
They'll be back on the court tonight when they host the Utah Jazz.
