Now, Kaep never ruined the NA and doesn't hate America or the troops, and neither does the former Black Eyed Peas singer, but this was... wow.
Pegged to sing the "Star Spangled Banner" before the 2018 NBA All-Star Game began, the Ferg opened quite a few eyes, and not for a good reason.
As TNT, who televised the annual event, panned across players listening to Fergie’s singing, a common theme began: They weren’t feeling what she was doing.
Twitter shortly followed and they were ruthless. Well, she did butcher it, sooooo.
I gotta feelin’- tonight’s not gonna be a good night for Fergie.— bob saget (@bobsaget) February 19, 2018

The other night I was wondering what it would have been like if Roseanne’s star spangled banner night happened during social media, and then Fergie gave me the answer.— Mike Cernovich 🇺🇸 (@Cernovich) February 19, 2018
Yo. Shame on Fergie’s friends & fam that heard her rehearsing and didn’t say a damn thing. SHAME! Smh. 🤦🏽♂️— Pinoy of the Woods 🌲 (@JRAquino) February 19, 2018

Everyone has a bad night. And we've seen her do this before and kill it. The lesson learned really is: please don't freestyle that song. It is what it is, just sing it so we can watch some basketball.
