Shannon Sharpe Called Out White Terrorist Travis Reinking Getting Bail When Meek Mill Didn’t
Three-time Super Bowl champ Shannon Sharpe went off on the justice system after suspected Waffle House terrorist Travis Reinking was placed on bail when rapper Meek Mill was denied bond.
After Reinking was captured by the Metro Nashville Police Department on Monday, his mugshot was tweeted along with caption noting he is being held on a $2 million bond.
On Sunday, Reinking reportedly went to a Nashville Waffle House with an AR-15 and opened fire, killing four people. After he was disarmed by James Shaw, Reinking fled. He was captured on Monday afternoon.
Sharpe took issue with Reinking being given bail when Meek Mill was denied bond by a judge, even though prosecutors argued in his favor
When Meek Mill was sent to jail for violating his probation, bail was not made available to him. Even when prosecutors argued Meek should be given bond, the rapper's judge denied the request, according to his attorney.
Sharpe's criticism was supported by many people who believe Reinking should never have been offered bond
