Tristan Thompson is getting slammed for crediting his daughter, True, for changing his life while seemingly discrediting his son, Prince.

While speaking on the sports podcast “Road Trippin,” Thompson opened up about how he feels different raising True than he does Prince.

“With a boy, it’s just like, ‘Hey, man. You’ll be alright, man. Stop crying,'” he said on the podcast. “But [with True], it’s like, ‘True, it’s gonna be OK. You know, we’re right here. Daddy’s here to feed you.'”

Thompson, 27, also said his newborn daughter has changed him.

“It’s way different, but it’s fun, though, it changes you,” he added.

  1. First, some people took issue with him saying he raises his son differently than his daughter
  2. The Cavs' star was also called out for being "changed" by his daughter and not speaking the same way about Prince
  3. Although he spoke about being a father, Thompson didn’t acknowledge his cheating scandal on the podcast.
