LeBron Let Trump Know No Matter Who Wins This Series “No One Wants To Go” to The White House

"Lebron basically pulled an M'Baku on Trump and said, "WE WILL NOT HAVE IT!"

During an NBA finals news conference on Tuesday, Lebron James let President Donald Trump know that should the Cleveland Cavaliers take home the title, they will not be attending the White House in celebration.

Additionally, James went as far as to suggest that even if the Golden State Warriors win the championship, they won’t be going to the traditional celebration either.

"I know regardless of who wins this series, no one wants an invite anyway. It won't be Golden State or Cleveland going,” LeBron told reporters.

Lebron’s answer came after he was asked about Trump’s decision to disinvite the Super Bowl champ Philadelphia Eagles from a White House event on Tuesday in their honor.

  • Lebron said "it's typical" of Trump to take away an invite to the White House when athletes disagree

  • Steph Curry, who was disinvited after the Golden State Warriors won last year, echoed similar feelings

  • Lebron, who was spoken out against Trump before — calling him a bum on Twitter — was applauded for taking an early stand
