LeBron James is catching some heat after videos he posted of his daughter, Zhuri, singing in the car had some people concerned for her safety.

The Los Angeles Lakers' star recently shared touching videos of himself singing along with Zhuri to music from the musical Frozen.

In one video posted to his Instagram page, "Baby Z," as James referred to her, sang and danced to the popular car ride sing-a-long tune “Love Is an Open Door.” In another clip, posted to his Story then shared by others, both belt out the song "Let It Go."

At first, James was called the greatest dad of all time for the clips.

"You’re such a role model father," commented one Instagram user.

"Dad of the year and MVP?" wrote another.

Then some began commenting that the child should be riding in a car seat to have the seat belt properly fastened.

"Can’t appreciate this video with the improper seatbelt situation making me crazy anxious," commented one person.

"Woah @kingjames she needs a car seat. I hate to be a 'troll' but this is too important," wrote another.

"Adorable! ... but unfortunately cringe-worthy— She’s unrestrained. And she should be in a car seat or booster at her age/size."

While there was a great deal of criticism, other people rushed to James' defense.

"Not loving reading the comments of shame," wrote one person.

"Are you her parent? No. ...and really it’s no ones business to give their 2 cents," commented another in defense of James.
