Chad Ochocinco was a talented and wide receiver during his time in the NFL. Now, he’s apparently shifting his focus to something else.
On Twitter, the man formerly known as Chad Johnson, asked everyone how their day was going. He got some pretty usual responses and some troll one as well. One of his followers though, shared some more personal info.
“Facing eviction but it’s Friday so?” Chris, the Twitter user wrote. What came next was at the surprise to everyone.
“Eviction❓Show me the notice I’ll take care of it,” he replied in a retweet. Chris would tweet a picture of his bill and subsequently, a Paypal balance in the amount needed to end the fan’s eviction.

“God is our refuge and strength,” Chris tweeted. “I owe this man my life.”
That wasn’t all. Ochocinco even claimed to pay his follower’s rent again if Chris’ landlord could beat him in the soccer video game FIFA. “Tell your landlord next time WE fall behind on rent to play me in fifa for the balance.” 💯

Chad Ochocinco was accused last June of domestic violence against his ex-wife Evelyn Lozada. The Basketball Wives star shared pictures of Ochocinco’s alleged abuse, which have since been deleted from her Instagram. Hopefully this new philanthropy will put Chad on the right path.
