Don't miss 106 & Park tonight!

On The Heels Of Jay-Z - While the internet and news was buzzing about Jay-Z's song "Open Letter," Kanye took to Twitter to say that he's glad Jay-Z is bringing real hip hop back and then said that he and Pusha were going to do the same thing. A few minutes later "Numbers On The Board" dropped. Although it felt like a contrived release, it was still amazing and will rock the summer.(Photo: GOOD MUSIC)

Reebok - Rick Ross helped pump up Reebok's sales when he signed to a multi-million dollar endorsement in 2012. The gig went south however after the athletic apparel giant dropped Rozay for his controversial "date rape lyrics" ... or did they? While there was never a public announcement made of them reuniting, Ross still credits the brand with helping him lose a lot of weight through their cross-fit training regime. (Photo: REEBOK)

Classic Can - After Rick Ross rapped about date rape and apologized for the lyrics being misunderstood instead of the fact that his lyric was insensitive and offensive a lot of eyebrows were raised. Eventually Reebok got the message and announced yesterday that they dropped "the bawse" for that very reason. Hopefully this is a lesson to all about the power of words.(Photo: REEBOK)

When Hov's Lyrics Go Wrong - White House press secretary Jay Carney had to deal with one reporter yesterday questining him about Jay-Z and Beyonce's travel to Cuba. The clearly frustrated press secretary let the world know that the White House had nothing to do with the trip and said "It's a song, Donovan [reporter's name]. The President did not communicate with Jay-Z over this trip."  (Photo: AP Photo/Charles Dharapak)
