The Buzz: Trey Songz Responds to Internet Hoax, Puff Daddy Gets a College Course and More...

Trey Songz clears the air, Sevyn Streeter tonight and more!

"Foreign" - Everybody loves foreign whips and Trigga likes his women with a little exotic spice as well. Paying tribute to the Latin mamis, Trey sings "Colombiano, yeah I love that/I love her if she speak another language/She be doing things I never seen/She working hard like she trying get a visa/The way she twerk it I just might pull out my Visa."(Photo: Martyna Borkowski/Getty Images for MTV)

Rumors Swirling - In a day and age where everyone thinks that they're a Photoshop genius, yesterday some trolls took to the Internet after creating an alleged tweet from Trey Songz that said that he was coming out of the closet. Now, Trey saw it and cleared up rumors quickly and with class. Lesson here, as always: don't believe everything that you read. (Photo: Martyna Borkowski/Getty Images for MTV)

Puff Daddy 101 - Like Jay Z and Beyonce, Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs is going to be the subject of a college course at NYU's Clive Davis Institute. The course will focus on Puff's influence on culture and how he's become a household name. Congrats, Mr. Combs! (Photo: Michael Loccisano/Getty Images for SXSW)

YG on Top - YG's debut album, My Krazy Life, has hit No. 1 on the hip hop charts and No. 2 on the Hot 200! Congrats on the accomplishment, YG! (Photo: John Ricard / BET).

The Alan Parsons Project vs. Kendrick Lamar - Even hip hop's prodigal nephew can get sued. Kendrick Lamar was recently named in a suit for his Section.80 track "Keisha's Song (Her Pain)," released in 2011. Woolfsongs Limited claims he didn't get proper clearance from the Alan Parsons Project for use of their tune "Old & Wise." That's not to say, however, that K-Dot actually sampled the U.K. rock band (leave that dispute to the lawyers).(Photo: Mike Coppola/Getty Images)

Don't Blame Kendrick - During the Oscar Pistorius aka "Blade Runner" trial in South Africa, Kendrick Lamar's "Don't Kill My Vibe" was mentioned. Pistorius is accused of killing his girlfriend. Allegedly, he played the song after the two had a fight and she took it seriously, he later explained that he was just playing the song and blowing off some steam. Unfortunately this seems like another example of people trying to draw a correlation between hip hop and aggression, but it sounds like a weak scapegoat to us.  (Photo by Mike Coppola/Getty Images)

Cookin' Something Good - With his Davy Crockett hat on his head, and his voice ready to go, Usher hit the studio with Rico Love, so we're sure that the final product will be great. After 2012's "Looking 4 Myself," fans everywhere are curious to see which direction Usher takes on this album, and we have a sneaking suspicion that it'll skew more to the R&B side. What do you think? (Photo: Usher via Instagram)

"FlyMuthaF***a - With a title like this it would be wrong for B.o.B to not get extra fly for this quasi-acoustic track. "I swear to God I'm always on a hater's mind, don't know why. I guess 'cause I'm a fly muthaf***a," proclaims the Down South lyricist. (Photo: Chung Sung-Jun/Getty Images)
