Tuesday - Today, President Obama will go to a D.C. area Home Depot store to talk to an invitation-only audience about homes that are retrofitted (to become more energy-efficient) and how they impact the economy. Through home retrofits, Americans can save on their energy bills, the White House says.

Wednesday - The president will attend meetings at the White House.

Thursday - After attending meetings during the day, President Obama will travel to Copenhagen to take part in the final day of the climate change conference. He will return to D.C. on Friday.

“60 Minutes” Interview - The president recently sat down for an interview with “60 Minutes” and discussed the war in Afghanistan and the state dinner party crashers. About Afghanistan: He’ll be willing to change his approach if the surge of 30,000 isn’t effective by the end of next year. About the party crashers: The president says he’s “seriously upset” about it and that a security breach of that kind won’t happen again.

Christmas in Washington - Singers Usher and Mary J. Blige were among those who performed this weekend at the “Christmas in Washington” concert. Comedian George Lopez served as emcee for the event and the Obamas joined the performers at the end of the evening for a rendition of “Hark the Herald Angels Sing.”

In First Lady News… - The Oprah Winfrey special, “Christmas at the White House,” aired Sunday. The interview featured some playful banter between President Obama and First Lady Michelle, with the two discussing who gives better Christmas gifts.

Most Fascinating - ABC’s Barbara Walters recently named the First Lady the Most Fascinating Person of 2009. In the interview, Mrs. Obama talked about the First Dog, Bo, and about her relationship with the president. While the political arena has been difficult for her at times, she says her husband would have given it all up at her request; but she’s glad she didn’t.
