Roman GianArthur learned how to play the guitar in 2012. Ever since then, he's been continuing to practice about two hours a day. He does play the guitar at his concerts though, because practice makes perfect!
He's been noted for engineer credits on the Purple Ribbon All-Stars' Got Purp? Vol. II.
GianArthur was a major contributor to Janelle Monáe's Grammy-nominated album The ArchAndroid. His credits include the songs "Suite II Overture," "Suite III Overture" and "Babopbyeya."
Back in 2013, through The Wondaland Arts Society, he released mid-tempo funk single "I-69" and played a variety of instruments while also co-producing most of the tracks on Janelle Monáe's The Electric Lady album.
With the skyrocketing of Jidenna's Top 40 pop hit "Classic Man" and the popularity of Jidenna's The Chief album, Roman was brought to the forefront as a featured artist.
Roman collaborated with Wondaland Records visionary Janelle Monáe on "What Is Love" for the soundtrack for the animated motion picture Rio 2. The song was later nominated for a Satellite Award for Best Original Song.
Roman has a single out that was featured on the EP Wondaland Presents: The Eephus and it's titled "iKnow." Check out the track above!
