President Obama took office as the 44th president of the United States in 2008. Born in Hawaii, President Obama went on to graduate from both Columbia University and Harvard Law School. He made his mark in Chicago as a U.S. Senator after working as a community organizer for several years.

While in office, some of his most notable work includes the passing of the Affordable Care Act, restoring diplomatic relations with Cuba, ordering the military operation that resulted in Osama Bin Laden's death and also signing an economic stimulus package which saved the U.S. from an impending great depression. Obama has displayed charisma, charm, empathy, decisiveness and grace that commands respect. He is not only the first African-American president, he is a role model for husbands and fathers and a true leader. We will truly miss having him in the White House.
